Fun fact, I never got to experience Sega Channel. My friend down the street had it but it was shut down for good that summer. I was upset about it for a good while, hoping that somehow Sega Channel would make a comeback. Eventually I ended up taking matters into my own hands. When I started to learn how to work with Assembly during the pandemic, Sega Channel Revival was my first long term project. How on earth could I possibly make this work outside of a cool tech demo? Turns out Genesis Plus GX could handle bank switching in ways an actual console could not, this project honestly should not have been possible. Now I have a Dedicated Sega Channel computer hooked up to my CRT TV. I tend to play a lot of Columns and Street Fighter II but I do enjoy playing Jewel Master and General Chaos. Thank you for making this video and for the shout out. This was my absolute favorite project I have ever worked on. ❤

I played this game as much as street fighter and mortal Kombat. But as a kid I never really considered the storyline as sad, except I do recall it being eerie and unsettling.

Guest characters are lame, especially when you have a bunch together and in early seasons

So they are all losers in a since. Couldn’t hack it in the real fighting world and got merked, so they are trying to redeem themselves in the afterlife basically. Eternal champions, makes sense now.

Go for the Bitwave version. The S-Tribute version has input lag of six frames.

Devil Blade Reboot scratches my itch for caravan-type shooting real damn good. The pace and scoring brings to mind a more refined Solider Blade, an all-time fav of mine. I think the shorter overall length works in its favor for the sort of game it's going for. If it had a proper timed mode, that would be the icing on an already delicious cake.

I love it. Mark MSX was too harsh with a critique, and with thumbnail... At least he could change - Crowd Pleaser to summer blockbuster. More hipe and positivity can bring more people to shmup scene. 🙆‍♂️😄

I loved it! Played live for the first time, it's all I wanted from a modern shmup. Not too long, not too hard, and extremely polished. Not sure what they want with the "streamer mode", but anyway...

I cannot even follow your video because right away it says "This application requires a Java Runtime Environment 17 (64-bit)" when I try to open the .exe file of this application. I followed this video ua-cam.com/video/fv9u2A6qldU/v-deo.html and tried to see if that would help it recognize it in my computer so it would launch and nothing! :(

one of the biggest aspects of these bullet hell shooters is the tension from the bullet patterns trying to psyche you out. and when you keep moving your ship like its on a week long meth binge then it's going to get your ship erased from existence. just stay calm.

Anybody know how to play the sequel in English?

I found flicking your option around the key to success but also it's so technical and difficult to do to the levels this game requires of you I got exhausted now I'm scared of it. Maybe I'll play it again because it was fun. But the backgrounds are kind of muddy colours.
